DAVIS GETS SPITFIRES OFF THE GROUND

BOSS Kelvin Davis is challenging Eastleigh to keep the surprises coming as they lurk with intent in the shadows of the playoff race.
An 11-match unbeaten run may have come to an abrupt halt at the hands of Altrincham a fortnight ago but the Spitfires remain within touching distance of the play-offs following a marked improvement under the former Southampton and Ipswich Town goalkeeper.
Davis, 48, took over from Richard Hill in February 2024, inspiring a points ratio that would have got Eastleigh into the top seven if replicated across the whole of last season.
