New Gateshead chairman Bernard McWilliams has refuted claims the National League club are in a mess after a turbulent start to the summer.
Several key figures from within the Heed hierarchy have left the International Stadium since the club agonisingly missed out on a play-off place on the final day of the season.
Former chairman Neil Pinkerton and long-serving club captain Greg Olley both departed last month and they were followed by manager Carl Magnay, who accepted an offer to become assistant manager at National League North neighbours South Shields earlier this week.
