ROBBIE Savage’s free-scoring Forest Green Rovers were knocked off the top of the National League table after being shut out by plucky Braintree Town in a hard-fought, lively encounter.
Rovers had scored 11 goals from their opening five unbeaten matches this season, but ultimately failed to become the first side to breach a stubborn Iron defence at Cressing Road this season.
