Southend United boss Kevin Maher was relieved to see his side’s patience rewarded as two late goals saw off Brackley Town at Roots Hall.

Southend United boss Kevin Maher was relieved to see his side’s patience rewarded as two late goals saw off Brackley Town at Roots Hall.
The Shrimpers scored twice in stoppage time with Leon Parillon and Andrew Dallas on target to secure a fourth straight win which lifted them up to sixth.
But Maher initially feared it was not going to be Southend’s day.
