SHAY’S JAY IS OFF TO SALOP

FORMER FC Halifax Town ace Jay Turner-Cooke is a “hypertalent” according to his new Shrewsbury Town boss Gavin Cowan.
The former Brackley Town chief has swooped for the 22-year-old, who was an ever-present for the Shaymen last season and scored five goals.
Midfielder Turner-Cooke has signed a two-year deal with the League Two outfit and Salop boss Cowan said: “Jay is a player I’ve monitored for some time, both during his time at Newcastle and more recently at Halifax.
