Braintree Town opened up daylight between them and the relegation places as two first-half goals sealed a well-deserved win over National League title hopefuls Forest Green Rovers.
The outstanding Kyrell Lisbie put the Iron in front after breaking away from Rovers full-back Sean Long down the left-hand side and finished with the outside of his boot.
Tom Blackwell’s excellent form continued when he fired across Rovers goalkeeper Fabien Mrozek into the bottom corner, doubling the home side’s advantage.
