Promotion-chasing FC Halifax Town registered only two shots on target all game but took the points home from Staffordshire in the evening mist in front of the DAZN cameras as Andy Peaks’ Tamworth somehow failed to come away at least a point in this National League contest.
Zak Emmerson’s eighth-minute opener always kept Chris Millington’s Shaymen in pole position and when Scott High doubled the lead 10 minutes from time, the smash-and-grab was as good as sealed.
