HONOURS were even at Edgeley Park as Nuneaton Town earned a well-earned point against a disappointed Stockport County.
Nuneaton showed they were a form side early on and were unlucky when Ashley Chambers’ shot was deflected over after being played in by Devon Kelly-Evans.
County created several chances but Sefton Gonzales inexplicably scooped Danny Lloyd’s cross over the bar from two yards out.
The first half continued to produce chances. Another Kelly-Evans cross produced another Chambers shot which was deflected wide.
