PLAY-OFF chasing Brackley Town saw off a spirited performance from relegated Altrincham to run out comfortable winners.
Alty started brightly, Damian Reeves striking wide early after turning in the six-yard box before two chances in two minutes for Nicky Clee went begging.
The winger had a fierce shot well saved by Laurie Walker before turning on the edge of the area and firing wide.
The Robins were made to pay for their misses as Brackley took the lead against the run of play on 31 minutes.
