Ainge treble slaughters Lambs

SIMON Ainge’s hat-trick saw Harrogate Town overtake Brackley at the top of the league following victory over Tamworth at the CNG Stadium.
Ainge headed home his first of the afternoon two minutes in as the striker found himself unmarked for George Thomson’s cross.
The hosts had multiple chances to make it two, only for Terry Kennedy to see his header bounce off the bar before heading Thomson’s deep corner wide.
The Lambs started the second half better but were soon on the back foot as Joe Leesley clipped the post.
