CITY had a number of chances that they should have taken.
Zane Banton went close on 12 minutes when his effort from the edge of the box drifted inches wide. The midfielder was causing plenty of issues and had a great opening when he latched on to a Sam Merson flick-on and attempted to round Lewis Ward. The goalkeeper challenged for the ball and appeared to foul the St Albans man, but referee Tom Reeves waved the protests away.
