RELEGATED LAMBS ARE CONDEMNED BY CARVER

TAMWORTH were relegated after throwing away a 3-1 lead against play-off chasers Chorley. Needing a win to take their fight to the final day, the Lambs led on 16 minutes as Connor Taylor set up Dior Angus for the opener.
Both sides were down to ten men on 20 minutes when Magpies defender Adam Blakeman was handed a straight red for a challenge on Andy Burns, before Tamworth defender Regan Upton followed suit for his reaction during the ensuing melee.
