Alty peg back Darlo in six-goal thriller

HIGH-FLYING Altrincham came back from two goals down to draw an enthralling encounter to struggling Darlington.
Tom Elliott, Harvey Saunders and Jordan Nicholson found the net for the visitors but replies from Josh Hancock, Max Harrop and Ashley Hemmings meant the spoils were shared.
The Quakers went in front in the eighth minute as Saunders pounced on a mistake by James Jones and the ball spilt to Elliott, who beat Tony Thompson at his near post.
However, Alty were level as Hancock headed in John Johnston’s cross.
