ASHTON UNITED boosted their battle against the drop as they put another nail in the Nuneaton coffin at Liberty Way.
Despite missing a first-half spot kick, the visitors were able to ride out what was a closefought game to earn what could be a vital three points in their fight to stay in the National League North this season. Not that they did it the easy way.
