Waring equaliser rescues the Blues

BOSTON and Chester played out the host’s first opening day draw since 2003 in a tight encounter at soon-to-be-vacated York Street.
Early possession was largely controlled by the hosts, but it was Chester who created the clearest chances, home ‘keeper Peter Crook denying Danny Elliott and Anthony Dudley.
Boston took the lead in the 38th minute with their first clear-cut chance. Jordan Thewlis fizzed an effort across the box and Simon Grand sliced into his own net.
