DARLINGTON continued their good run with a fifth win in six league outings to climb up to ninth in the table.
Quakers made hard work of it in the second half of of their first home game of 2020 but held on to beat Gloucester City 2-1.
Alun Armstrong’s team took a fourth-minute lead, Sean Reid applying the finishing touch from close-range after Jarrett Rivers got to the byline on the left by dribbling beyond a handful of defenders and playing the ball across goal.
