JORDAN Burrow’s 14th goal of the season proved enough to see off the challenge of Kettering at Bootham Crescent.
The former Gateshead forward pounced from close range on 63 minutes to secure maximum points, as the Minstermen racked up a third straight home win.
At the other end, meanwhile, Steve Watson’s team kept a 16th clean sheet of the season.
Kettering put up a spirited fight for long periods, but never really threatened a third straight league triumph, which would have represented their best run of the campaign.
