KIDDERMINSTER hit back from an early own goal to deservedly pick up the points at Blackwell Meadows.
After losing key midfielder Will Hatfield after just 20 seconds with a hamstring injury, Quakers took the lead after 11 minutes, when Kidderminster defender Alex Penny, facing his own goal and under pressure from two Darlington attackers, put Justin Donawa’s cross into his own goal.
Quakers nearly went 2-0 up, but Luke Simpson saved well from Luke Charman, then Alex Storey headed a Tony McMahon freekick at the keeper.
