TWO goals in eight second-half minutes saw Bradford Park Avenue beat Alfreton to record a first home win of the season.
Jake Hibbs and Nicky Clee were the scorers as the hosts inflicted a first league defeat on the visitors to leapfrog them in the table.
Prior to the double strike, Avenue were indebted to an inspired goalkeeping display from Dan Atkinson, while Alfreton will rue a number of other chances which went begging.
Former Leeds United academy youngster Atkinson kept his side in it during a first half dominated by the visitors.
