FOUR red cards were shown late on as chaos ensued after defences had dominated.
Chester were incensed Tom Platt stayed on the pitch for a robust challenge, then a minute later Jordan Thewlis tangled with Kevin Roberts, prompting a tussle between benches.
Thewlis eventually saw red, alongside the already-substituted Mitch Rose and Chester manager Bernard Morley. United assistant Lee Stratford was sent off for an altercation with Roberts.
