DOCKERS GET GREEN LIGHT FOR £5M STADIUM PLAN

TILBURY have been handed a boost to see in the New Year after plans for a new £5 million stadium were given the go-ahead by council chiefs.
The new ground approval will see a 4,000-capacity sports facility, encompassing 3G pitch, clubhouse gym and hall, built next door to the Isthmian North club’s existing Chadfields ground, their home since 1950.
Attached to the development on the existing site will be the building of 112 new homes.
