MATT LOWE clinched victory for Brackley Town with a moment of magic which left Alfreton Town stunned at a soggy Impact Arena.
Lowe lobbed Reds keeper George Willis from a full 35 yards to hand the Saints the points.
But they had to do it with ten men for the final 32 minutes after Twariq Yusuf was sent off for a second booking, petulantly kicking the ball away right under the nose of the referee.
At half-time, both sides probably regretted the decision to rearrange this fixture, after seeing their original fixtures postponed last Saturday.
