MILES Storey’s goal ten minutes from time finally gave Hereford their first home win of the season and ended Chorley’s ninegame unbeaten run.
Storey raced on to a pass from Tom Owen-Evans and lifted the ball over keeper Matt Urwin.
After a sterile opening, Chorley’s attack started to create openings. Harry Cardwell’s header forced a fine save from keeper
Brandon Hall, who then did well to keep out a shot from Jon Ustabasi after a swift counter-attack.
But as the interval approached, the hosts created a few openings.
