GATESHEAD made it seven wins from eight unbeaten home games after captain Greg Olley scored a 93rd minute winner to end Alfreton’s seven-game unbeaten run.
Dayle Southwell tested Heed keeper Jacob Chapman early on, Matt Rhead then fluffing his lines from Conor Branson’s set up.
The dangerous Macaulay Langstaff went past Reds keeper George Willis at the other end only to be undone by a heavy touch. Olley then miscued close in with the goal at his mercy – and within a minute Alfreton had the lead.
