NEW BOSTON manager Paul Cox saw the Pilgrims recover from an early blow to earn a point as he watched on from the stands.
Moors took the lead early on through Glen Taylor, who dinked the keeper inside 60 seconds following a block on the line from Frank Mulhern’s initial effort, after debutant Jordan Thewlis ripped down the left-wing.
Boston came close to levelling the scores six minutes later as Joe Leesley’s free-kick deflected just wide of Jordan Amissah’s goal.
