FOR the second time in a week Darlington beat one of the promotion-chasers.
Four days after a shock 2-1 win at AFC Fylde, mid-table Quakers overcame another of the sides occupying a playoff place and now Alun Armstrong’s men are four points off seventh.
Chorley started well. Quakers keeper Tommy Taylor dropped Jon Ustabasi’s cross on the line before Darlington scrambled clear, Jack Sampson headed over and Ustabasi made a run that came to an end when Darlington debutant David Wheater got a foot in.
But it was Darlo who took the lead...
