YORK CITY made it five consecutive wins with a comfortable victory over Yorkshire rivals Guiseley.
York started the game with an early advantage just seven minutes in when Guiseley defender Prince Ekpolo was shown red for a two-footed challenge on Lenell John-Lewis.
The Minstermen took advantage of the extra man and nearly opened the scoring five minutes later through a point-blank John-Lewis diving header which was hooked out of the goalmouth from goalkeeper Owen Mason.
