A DISPLAY full of dogged determination eased Blyth’s relegation worries as a solitary goal by Robbie Dale was enough to see off Chorley.
There was little of note in a scrappy first half with both teams struggling to master a lively surface and a stiff wind. The chances fell to Blyth in the early stages. Angelo Capello missed an open goal from a low centre by Dan Maguire and then Matt Urwin was forced into a near-post save from a stinging Rhys Evans cross-shot.
