GATESHEAD were unable to record a hat-trick of wins over Bradford PA in 2021-22 as the visitors defended doggedly for 90 minutes to earn a draw.
It was attack against defence for the majority of a one-sided contest in front of the biggest crowd of the season, 1,816, at the International Stadium ahead of next weekend’s title crunch at Brackley. Leaders Gateshead
couldn’t find a way past inspired Avenue keeper George Sykes-Kenworthy, the Heed also profligate on occasions.
