BLYTH nudged further away from the bottom with a credible point at Boston, who have now rescued five points in added time at home this season.
United, without a recognised centre-back, dominated the first half but Spartans’ Lewis McNall had the best two chances, first seeing a drive blocked on 23 minutes before handing Blyth the lead four minutes before the break.
Conor Thompson’s shot from a slight angle was pushed into the middle of the box by Marcus Dewhurst and McNall side-footed home.
