CHELMSFORD missed an opportunity to grab all three points, squandering a two-goal lead against a weakened Hemel side who had several players missing through injury and suspension.
City dominated the first half and took the lead through Sheringham who slotted home after ten minutes after some early pressure from the visitors.
Hemel just could not get their game together and failed to get a shot on target in the first 45 minutes.
