CHORLEY improved their chances of a home tie in the play-offs with this hard-earned victory over strugglers AFC Telford.
In a scrappy contest ruined by a gusty wind, the Magpies dominated the opening half-hour and could have been two up before Ollie Shenton’s emphatic strike put them ahead. Telford’s showing had been toothless but they grew into the game.
