IN-FORM Alfreton Town fired blanks at the Impact Arena against a resolute Chester outfit.
The hosts began as if they were going to add to their fine recent National League North form when Conor Branson curled just over inside two minutes after good play from Dayle Southwell
Then it was left to the reflexes of goalkeeper Wyll Stanway to keep Chester on level terms when he tipped over a powerful Bailey Hobson volley.
As the half progressed, Chester worked their way into the contest with Marcus Dackers firing two long-range efforts and goalkeeper...
