PARKER PROVES DECISIVE

CURZON ASHTON 1 LEAMINGTON 2

CURZON entertained Leamington at the Tameside Stadium and the visitors took the lead after just two minutes.
With Marcus Poscha in control, Leamington’s striker Dan Turner robbed him and bared down on the Curzon goal, slipping the ball past keeper Chris Renshaw.
Despite the setback Curzon settled well and pushed forward at every opportunity. After 15 minutes, Tom Peers had Curzon’s first effort when he shot from the edge of the box, but Jake Weaver collected well.
