SPENNYMOOR ended the season on a high with a victory over play-off qualifiers Chorley.
Matt Urwin was adjudged to have fouled Jordan Thewlis, with Glen Taylor converting the resulting spot-kick.
Mark Anderson netted his second of the term against the Magpies when he tapped in after Urwin’s denied Taylor.
Spennymoor began brightly and were denied by the glove of Urwin following a well-placed shot from Jordan Preston.
Taylor, looking to round of another excellent campaign, fired a free-kick wide before Billy Whitehouse shot wide.
