HAMPTON sprung a surprise as they snapped a four-game losing streak by inflicting Chelmsford City’s first home defeat in over two months.
City started on the front foot but the best they could muster was when central defender Cameron James unleashed a shot from range but QPR loanee Joe Walsh was equal to it.
Referee Matt Norton also denied Khale Da Costa a couple of penalties when he was hauled down by Portsmouth loanee Liam Vincent both times.
