DARLINGTON’S Friday-night draw felt like a defeat after they were held by lowly Kettering despite leading 2-0.
Quakers were cruising when two goals by Jacob Hazel looked like taking Alun Armstrong’s side to the top of the table.
They took the lead after Jack Lambert collected the ball in Kettering’s half and played in Hazel, with the striker’s shot deflected past Cameron Gregory. Lewis White headed narrowly over for Kettering, but Darlington were strong and soon took a 2-0 lead.
