Avenue’s route out of trouble seems unlikely

BUXTON took a massive stride towards the play-offs with a heavy victory over a lowly Bradford Park Avenue side.
Avenue were dealt a heavy blow on Thursday, as star striker Jacob Blyth left on loan to Darlington for the rest of the season, while Louie Chorlton and Josh Hinds returned to Hull City.
It has caused a major backlash from Avenue fans, who are suggesting the club have accepted relegation.
Goals from Max Conway, Connor Kirby, Brad Jackson and Tom Elliott then dealt a big blow to Bradford’s survival ambitions.
