ALFRETON TOWN surged up to fifth place in the table after a win over Farsley Celtic made it back-to-back victories.
Alfreton had recorded a 3-1 win over Hereford in midweek, and they set about looking to claim another victory at the Impact Arena almost immediately when Jordan Thewlis opened the scoring after just three minutes by converting a Jake Day cross from inside the box.
