SWIFTS edged out fellow play-off contenders Brightlingsea Regent with this narrow home victory.
The first half was filled with half-chances for Swifts but little more.
Bantick and Adlington both went close, but both saw their attempts thwarted by Regent goalkeeper Greene.
Swifts started the second half strongly, but Greene again stood in the way of an opening goal.
