HARRY GREEN fired a hattrick to push Scarborough up to third place.
However, in the fourth minute the hosts had needed a brilliant block by midfielder Alex Purver to deny Tom Pugh.
New signing Dom McHale showcased his quality, dancing through Hereford’s defence, setting up Alex Wiles, whose shot was saved by Curtis Pond.
