No Bucks fizz for hosts as Town hold on

BUXTON bounced back from a midweek drubbing to deservedly share the points with fifth-placed Brackley Town.
The visitors offered little threat in the first half but had more of the play after the interval and particuarly in the last half hour when the hosts struggled with a catelogue of contact injuries.
The game started well with the Bucks offering a spirited display that looked the more likely to produce a goal. Returning loanee Joe Ackroyd from Barnsley crossed for Tommy Elliott to head wide but it was Jak McCourt’s dead-ball deli...
