SOUTHPORT hosted Peterborough Sports in a tight contest, resulting in a goalless draw.
The first half saw few clear chances for Southport’s Marcus Carver and Josh Hmami. The second half sparked into life as Southport emerged brighter, with Hmami squandering a golden opportunity in the 63rd minute, firing wide with an open goal beckoning.
