BANBURY UNITED put in a battling performance to end their wretched losing run.
It now looks like relegation is inevitable for the Puritans but Kevin Wilson’s side put in an encouraging display nonetheless.
In blustery conditions, Craig Hewitt worked an opening for the hosts but his bright approach play was not met with a finish to match, Hewitt lashing wide.
In first-half stoppage time, it was King’s Lynn Town who took the lead, Dylan Crowe’s precise lay-off being expertly finished by Jonny Margetts.
