Match Preview: Scunthorpe United v Blyth Spartans (Saturday, 3pm)

Blyth Spartans make the journey to Glanford Park to play Scunthorpe United on Saturday looking to pick up points to end their three-game losing streak.

Blyth Spartans’s struggles have left them with seven points from their last six National League North matches, while their opponents have earned 13 from a possible 18.

With 77 goals in 44 games so far this season, Scunthorpe are the league’s highest scorers with 1.8 goals per game. And they are conceding fewer than average, letting in 36 goals at a rate of 0.8 per game.
