‘Abbey’ days for Jed and regal Reds

ALFRETON TOWN saw off Radcliffe thanks to goals from Jed Abbey and David Moyo. The Reds held out despite a late fight back from the away side.
The hosts got off to a flying start, as new signing Cosmos Matwasa set up Abbey to sweep his tenth of the season from 18 yards after just two minutes.
A good move from Alfreton down the right ended with Billy Whitehouse finding space to dig out a cross towards Adam Lund at the back post, but his stretching header was easily dealt with by Mateusz Hewelt in the Radcliffe goal.
