MARINE edged a fairly evenly matched encounter at the Ecologic Stadium Bloomfields.
Needham though forced the first save in the fourth minute after Luke Ingram latched onto a long ball only to fire straight at Andrew Wogan.
Josh Tomlinson headed a great cross agonisingly over on 20 minutes, while Ingram couldn’t direct Tevan Allen’s corner goalwards.
Ten minutes later, Needham went close again, Keiran Morphew threaded Ingram one on one with a great defence-splitting pass but the forward couldn’t connect.
