DARLINGTON moved to within four points of the play-offs with a comfortable victory over Marine. Cedric Main put one effort into the side-netting and failed to connect to a Matty Cornish cross, while Marine’s Jack Hazlehurst scuffed straight at Peter Jameson.
Main was denied again by Max Metcalfe before Quakers took the lead on 27 minutes. Main sent Jarrett Rivers into the box, and when he went down under a challenge by two defenders, the referee awarded a penalty, which Marine furiously protested, having had one of their own turned down ear...
