WALDOCK PUSHES PICS CLOSER TO RELEGATION

LIAM WALDOCK rescued a point for Alfreton Town against relegation-threatened Rushall Olympic in a low-key affair after Austin Samuels put the Pics ahead from the penalty spot early on.
Alfreton had the ball in the net in the first 60 seconds but the referee pulled it back for a foul by a Reds attacker.
Rushall converted from the spot after nine minutes as David Solademi brought down Jessy Bavanganga. George Sykes-Kenworthy got a hand to the kick but wasn’t able to keep it out.
