Nash fall off pace after firing blanks

CURZON ASHTON dropped two points in the race for the play-offs after being held by Alfreton Town.
The Nash were unable to make the most of an abundance of chances throughout the 90 minutes at the Tameside Stadium.
Alfreton were the first to threaten as Jed Abbey’s free-kick came back off the post.
Curzon’s Isaac Buckley-Ricketts saw an effort curl past the post and midway through the half the same man was denied by George Sykes-Kenworthy.
